If the fow forest run is still possible, that would be a great one IMO.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, but really, grawl farming is(was) the funnest farming build there was. Look at the other farming builds, 55/605 involves tanking and letting them hit you a bunch of times, mesmers use IW/prot spirit or what not, warrior's just use vigourous spirit/cyclone or grenth's/riposte, necs use ss/mm when group farming, ele's nuke. It just doesn't get that exciting when you're "farming". Otherwise more people'd do it. Grawl bombing's probably the funnest it's gonna get for any class to farm...
The ranger solo builds that are around now involve spamming barrage with stances/vig spirit and live vicariously. Or attacking caster-type monsters at wand range (something exclusive to rangers and rits). "Farming" is boring, maybe some farmers out there like farming, but to me, farming should be boring, playing missions with other people and stuff is where the game gets fun, or just go into PvP.

The EoE nerf is a bit of a let down, but basically if you like the ranger class all ranger farming should be fun.
Weather that be with traps, or whatnot.
Grawl bombing was quite fun to even watch let alone do. Tis a shame anerf whipped out the bat.

Check this topic, you'll see EoE nerf is not a big deal at all for ranger solo farmers...

You can solo DNKP Titans. If you're only out for some challenging farming and dont care about money, then its a great place to farm.

so, you've seen and tried all these ranger solo builds....but you make a post with a title suggesting that they are useless without a team? I understand that you may be bored of these builds, but I don't see how you can argue an inability for a ranger to be used solo from this.....

Especially considering the fact that every profesion faces the same problems. If you are bored with the Ranger solo builds then... <can't believe I'm saying this>... try another class, or formulate one of your own. There is nothing more satisfactory than finding a way to do something different than others have done in the past, or completely new. Most of the fun in soloing, is doing something difficult, that few others can do. Explore and find a place to call your own, and tell others how to do it. That's how the community moves forward. Once you've 'tried everyting', then its time to try and contribute!
